TaylorMade continues its long-running standard of excellence with the men's r7 SuperQuad 460 driver. The r7 SuperQuad is distinguished by the company's TaylorMade Launch Control (TLC) technology, which gives golfers the freedom to alter the driver's launch conditions by redistributing 26 grams of discretionary weight in a variety of ways. While the average driver delivers a single set of launch conditions, the r7 SuperQuad offers six, letting you choose the one that generates the best combination of distance, accuracy, and workability. The system is built around a quartet of widely spaced ports--called TLC ports--that are located in the sole of the club head. TaylorMade's specialists then developed differently weighted TLC cartridges (two 12-gram weights and two 1-gram weights) that can be installed in the ports and removed again. Adding individual cartridges effectively shifts the center of gravity toward the front, back, heel, or toe of the club, depending on your personal performance needs. TaylorMade's engineers accomplished this by expanding the use of Ultra-Thin-Wall Technology throughout the clubhead, giving them more space to add weight without compromising the structural design of the club. The company also incorporated Inverted Cone Technology (ICT) into the design to produce a highly effective Motion of Inertia (eMOI), which exceeds 5800 while still conforming to USGA standards. And thanks to the exceptionally low and deep CG and massive 460cc clubface area, it's easy to launch this driver on a high, strong trajectory to produce a long carry and phenomenal distance.  Good driver November 16, 2008
The R7 superquad is a wonderful club to consider. The graphite shaft and light weight help get good distance, even with a slow (beginner) swing speed. The advantage to that is being able to focus on your swing mechanics with out sacrificing distance. It seems like all my shots look straighter and go farther, even the bad ones.

I've been using an r7 quad 400cc driver for two years and it has really helped straiten out my drives. I recently upgraded to the r7 Superquad 460 cc driver 10.5 loft and hit my longest drive ever - and strait down the center of the fairway! The Reax R flex shaft is perfect for my game and the sound of a solid strike sends shivers down my spine. This is the best driver I've ever used.

This club has changed my game in a way that no other club could. I will never buy another driver. It changed a severe slice into straight shots everytime - most times with a slight draw. Can't say enough about how good this driver is! As usual, Amazon delivery was perfect and right on time.

The reason I gave this product a four instead of a five was this: The first time i recieved it was shipped in an incredibly crude fashion. My club arrived with the box completely mangled, and the shaft broken in three places. Fortunately Amazon was very kind about the issue and rush shipped me a free replacement. Oh by the way, I highly recommend the stiff shaft if you have any swing speed. I hit it on the range the next day: 50 yards further than a steel driver from around 2000. They are selling it at a bargain price, and the weight system is great. If i want it low it goes low, high high, draw it draws, fade so on... that is, well in reality the draw straightens out any slice if you hit one. I love it. ON GOOD CONTACT I AM HITTING THE BACK FENCE, IF NOT OVER IT.
