It has a low center of gravity thanks to a wider profile back, which offers added stability to prevent tipping. The swoopy steel frame has an easy step-through design so your tyke will be comfortable and ready to ride. The Roadster has a bucket seat with an opening on the back for easy carrying, and the seat can be adjusted underneath with twist knob (no tools needed) to five different positions. The handlebars have textured grips and raised ends that help keep the hands from slipping off, and the handlebars can be adjusted using a wrench. The pedals offer colored rubber accents that also provide extra gripping so shoes don't slide off. It also features air-filled tires--12 inches in front, 8 inches in the back--which provide a smoother ride over bumpy surfaces. For added style, this trike comes with a real wooden deck in back with a burned-in Schwinn logo, shiny silver fenders on the front and back tires, a bell on the handlebars (which can be removed), and tassels for added flair coming off the ends of the handlebars (also removable).

 Awesome tricycle! January 7, 2009
I purchased this tricycle for my Grandson who turned two on 12/21/08. It was a hit at his birthday party with all the children. He is trying to
master the art of pedaling, but his little legs are a bit too short yet. It won't be long, though! It is a beautiful tricycle and I am so glad that I
purchased it!
Excellent Product and Service January 6, 2009
Like many other reviewers I bought this item for my daughter. It was very easy to assemble, had a great price (relative to other plastic tricycles, was made from durable steel, had real inner tube wheels, and is very functional.
Furthermore, I had a problem with a defective inner tube when I assembled the bicycle. With a simple phone call 1-800-626-2811 I had a new inner tube mailed to me free of charge and hassle. 100% excellent customer service.
Great trike January 6, 2009
Purchased this toy as a Christmas gift for our soon-to-be 3 year old grandson who lives in a rural area. The low center of gravity helps prevent tipping while the rubber tires help grip the sandy driveway where he rides. After a few adjustments and a little practice he learned to zoom down the drive and to negotiate the sand traps. This is a handsome model (we chose blue) whose heavy construction promises to hold up under his and his older brother's and sister's enthusiasms. We're very pleased with the trike and with the prompt delivery.

She got this for Christmas and loves her bike. The seat is adjustable and we have it all the way up for her so she can reach the pedals well. Seems very sturdy, and I don't worry about her tipping over. One reason I chose this over others was the tires. They are REAL instead of plastic-y quality. Great for a kiddos first trike.

We did a lot of reviewing for a pedal tricycle before buying this beauty. The low-rider style and chrome are really attractive, but we wanted something that was easy to ride (not fall over on) and sturdy. This tricycle doesn't dissappoint. Bonus that it is very easy to assemble (Christmas eve - 15 minutes!) We got a blue one for our little girl and she loves it.
