Almost 5 stars January 6, 2009 Lots of fun!! We really enjoy this game. My husband and I compete at everything and with this we can program easy levels for the kids while we play the hardest level, all together. I would have given 5 stars if it had a volume control and an on/off switch. It has a timer so if you don't play in 5 mins (or something) it shuts itself off and you "wake" it up by pressing any button. Not practical for my taste but definately not a deal breaker! Would buy agian!
great toy! January 6, 2009 This kept two families on vacation very entertained. All ages loved it (even my 3 year old loved playing with it). Lots of fun, highly recommended. Only negative is couldn't turn off and had to wait for it to noisily shut down and could use more phrases as it started repeating--like I said, we played it a lot!
Just an awesome game! January 6, 2009 I got this game for my 14 year old daughter. This can be a hard age to buy for but if the child watches tv (what 14 year old doesn't) then they can play this game. The whole concept of the game is to take out of order phrases and put them in order and you only get a short amount of time or number of turns to do it in. These are very common phrases made popular by tv shows, movies, advertises and music lyrics. In addition to my 14 year old, her 10 year old sister also plays it and a 'smart as a whip' 5 year old friend of the family didn't do too bad either (not recommended for quite that young though).
This game can be played alone or with others (up to 5 players) so it's a great game for those boring times or with friends.
Exciting January 6, 2009 This game was purchased for a 7 years old -- it's a little over her head. However, my brother (38) and I (42)have a blast with it. God for training memory and speed!!!!! My 7 years old does give it a try and has managed to throw a few phrases together in the begiinning 30 second rounds, but some of the phrases go back a few years and she doesn't know them.
Overall, GREAT game and worth the money! GO FOR IT!
a lot of fun for the whole family January 3, 2009 This game is so fun. You can play up to 5 people and set the difficulty level for each player (Great feature!). The challenge is to unscramble a phrase is the alloted time. We have had a great time with this game. It doesn't take long to get through a round so you don't have to commit a lot of time to playing.
